Working together to improve safety and ease of travel on the K-254 Corridor
The K-254 Corridor Development Association is made up of individuals, business owners, municipalities, and government agencies working together to encourage alignment between safe highway access and regional economic development along the highway connecting South Central Kansas communities from Wichita to El Dorado.
KDOT has developed a corridor management plan for K-254 in Sedgwick and Butler counties. The area includes 22 miles of K-254 from Wichita on the west to El Dorado on the east (and within 1 mile of the highway).
Watch Kelly Herzet, K-254 Corridor Development Associate Chair, speak about the K-254 Corridor.
